Legendary toy of the 90s — Tamagotchi — again found herself in the center of attention. According to the BBC, demand for the virtual pets has grown so much that Bandai Namco has opened the first official Tamagotchi store in the UK.

The updated version of the popular toy appeals not only to young people, but also to adults, offering new technological features, including connectivity via Wi-Fi and the ability to communicate with friends.

After several failed attempts to revive the brand, Bandai Namco succeeded. According to company representatives, global sales will more than double from 2022 to 2023.
