NASA specialists have been hatching plans for the commercialization of the ISS for a long time. They delivered Estée Lauder face cream to the station and it is possible that they will start filming an advertisement for cosmetics of this famous American brand.

It is known that 10 jars of cosmetic products were sent to the ISS in September. The campaign is part of a collaboration between Estée Lauder and the American Space Agency. At the moment, it remains a mystery who will be filmed in the commercial, since cosmonauts are prohibited from participating in such filming. Estée Lauder has yet to comment on the information leaked to the media. Moreover, it is known that this is not the first product delivered to the ISS for the purpose of creating advertising. Earlier it was reported that Adidas sports shoes and soccer balls were sent on board. This is probably due to NASA's search for ways to make additional money on the ISS, which will reduce the costs of the agency itself.
It is noteworthy that it was the Russian cosmonauts who became the pioneers in advertising from space. In the mid-90s, Vasily Tsibliev drank balls of milk from the Tnuva Milk company on the Mir space station, and in the early 2000s, Yuri Usachev tasted pizza from Pizza Hut on board.
