The iPhone 16 Pro Max smartphone leads the battery life test

iPhone 16 Pro Max takes the lead in battery life test

iPhone 16 Pro Max has the best battery life among popular smartphones, according to Tom&rsquo's updated battery life rating ;s Guide. The test results showed that the model with a battery capacity of 4685 mAh was able to work for 18 hours and 6 minutes.

At the same time, the Chinese smartphone OnePlus 12, equipped with a 5400 mAh battery, demonstrated a working time of 17 hours and 37 minutes, which is also an impressive result, but does not reach the performance of the iPhone 16 Pro Max.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus and Ultra showed lower results — 16 hours 46 minutes and 16 hours 45 minutes, respectively. They still beat the iPhone 16 Plus, which lasted 16 hours and 29 minutes, despite a smaller battery capacity. The basic iPhone 16 model also showed a significant result — 12 hours and 43 minutes, surpassing the previous version.

The difference in operating time between the iPhone 16 and its predecessors is impressive: the iPhone 16 Pro Max exceeded the performance of the previous version by more than four hours, and the iPhone 16 Pro added almost three of half an hour to the total battery life.

It is worth noting that all results were obtained in real conditions, including using the Internet via 5G, and for comparison, the brightness of the displays of all smartphones was set to the same level. However, average users may not notice the same significant improvement as in tests.

Overall, the iPhone 16 Pro Max offers the best battery life of any smartphone today, which can be a noticeable advantage for users in everyday use.
