The iPhone 16 Pro Max smartphone has a new record: it surpassed all competitors in an important indicator

The author of the YouTube channel PhoneBuff, who films videos about testing smartphones and comparing them with each other, published a new video comparing the autonomy of the two main flagships on the market: Galaxy S24 Ultra and iPhone 16 Pro Max.

During the test, a special robot simulated working with gadgets, draining their battery. A special machine opened various applications on smartphones in turn, simultaneously measuring the time spent on the screen. As a result, the iPhone won – and with a noticeable advantage.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra turned out to be a very autonomous smartphone, lasting 27 hours and 18 minutes. However, the iPhone 16 Pro Max completely drained the battery after only 28 hours and 14 minutes. For comparison, the iPhone 15 Pro Max lasted 27 hours and 45 minutes when it was tested a year ago on iOS 17.

The author of PhoneBuff called the iPhone 16 Pro Max the most autonomous smartphone in the history of tests and put it in first place in your rating. This is another test that proves that Apple has seriously improved the autonomy of the new iPhones.

Reviews of the iPhone 16 from various experts continue to appear online. iFixit called the iPhone 16 the most repairable iPhone in history. Despite the fact that the iPhone 2024 is very similar to the iPhone 2023, there are many changes inside, aimed, in particular, at improving repairability.

But the camera of the iPhone 16 Pro Max did not manage to become the best in the world, at least in tests DxOMark The phone shares 4th place with Huawei Mate 60 Pro and Oppo Find X7 Ultra, but misses the top leaders – Huawei Pura 70 Ultra and Pixel 9 Pro XL.
