The International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for the Rashists Shoigu and Gerasimov

The International Criminal Court issued a warrant for the arrest of ex-Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Sergei Shoigu and Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Army Valery Gerasimov.

This was reported to the ICC.

So, the court is convinced that there are enough grounds to believe Shoigu and Gerasimov responsible for missile attacks on Ukrainian electrical infrastructure, which occurred from October 10, 2022 until at least March 9, 2023. During this period, Russian military forces carried out a large number of attacks on numerous power plants and substations in various locations in Ukraine.

ICC prosecutors also hold Shoigu and Gerasimov individually responsible for all of these crimes.

We recall that in March of this year the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for the commander of the Russian long-range aviation Sergei Kobylash and the commander of the Russian Black Sea Fleet Viktor Sokolov.

They were also accused of missile strikes carried out by forces under their command on the Ukrainian electric infrastructure from at least October 10, 2022 until at least March 9, 2023.

The arrest warrant from the ICC means that racists can now be detained and brought to justice in the 124 countries that have ratified the Rome Statute. Ukraine only signed it, but did not ratify it.
