From the presented graph it follows that in the period from 18 to 25 September the number of patients exceeded the number of patients who were in the intensive care unit of a medical institution during the peak of the pandemic from April 24 to May 1. If earlier the figure was 66.7, now it has reached 72.7. Protsenko also said that the largest number of patients, and this is more than 82%, are elderly people. The age from 40 to 60 years old accounts for 13.3% of cases. Least of all infected, who are from 18 to 40 years old, only 4.4%.
As follows from the operational information on the stopkoronavirus.ru website, as of the morning of September 30, 1,176,286 cases were registered in Russia for the entire period of the pandemic. Over the previous day, 8,461 infected were identified. At the same time, 956 257 people recovered. More than 20,000 patients have died. Over 46 million tests for coronavirus infection have been carried out in the country.
