Mediaset revolutionizes programming and moves ‘High Tension’ to Cuatro
Monday, 13 September 2021, 08:56
The face of Christian Gálvez disappears from Telecinco, at least for now. Mediaset has decided to completely overturn its programming at the beginning of September and the revolution fully affects Gálvez. He left the main channel when his attempt to compete with his exprogram, ‘Pasapalabra’, from Antena 3 failed.
Gálvez’s new space, ‘Alta Tensión’, began broadcasting in prime time in August. The objective was to overcome the classification of the audiences that Antena 3 finally took. A few weeks ago, the new program moved to the time slot prior to the News. Christian Gálvez competed directly against ‘Pasapalabra’ and as happened to ‘Sálvame’ during the summer, he fell by a landslide. The space presented by Roberto Leal is unstoppable.
Starting today, Gálvez’s program will air at 12:45 on Cuatro, Mediaset’s second channel. It will not be the only novelty. Telecinco will advance the broadcast of its programs in prime time. Instead of starting at 10 p.m., after the News, they will start at 8 p.m., pause at 9 p.m. for the newscast and resume an hour later.
