The SBU informed the Russian Volodymyr Mikheichyk about the suspicion. The SBU reported this in Telegram.

According to the investigation, from August 2022 to the present, Mikheichyk provided 6 civilian planes to carry out relevant flights from Syria and Iran to collection points on the territory of the Russian Federation. First of all, he “took care” of issues of the transfer of weapons and fighters of the Russian military company “Wagner” to our country from the Middle East.

The message states that the Security Service has gathered evidence on Volodymyr Mikheychyk – general director of the Russian airline “224 Flight Squad”. It is reported that on August 8, 2022, civilian planes of the suspect's airline were transporting weapons and instructors of “Wagner”. from Iran to Moscow by international flight RFF8629. And already on September 18, Russian mercenaries were on their way to Syria-Grozny by air. (flight – RFF8631).

On the basis of the collected evidence, the investigators of the Security Service informed Mikheichyk of suspicion under Part 5 of Art. 27, Part 2 of Art. 437 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (planning, preparation, resolution and waging of an aggressive war). The perpetrator faces up to 15 years in prison.
