Future Galaxy A06 from Samsung has been in the rumor mill for some time, and today there was another leak of information. Earlier this month, we took a look at the full renders of the phone. Now, reliable tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore has revealed its full specs on the X.
The leaked specs suggest a 6.7-inch PLS LCD display with 720×1600 resolution. Unlike some recent budget offerings, the refresh rate seems to be stuck at the standard 60Hz. The phone will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 processor, a familiar chip often found in entry-level devices.
The camera department has not changed compared to its predecessor — on the back there's a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor, while up front you get an 8MP selfie lens. The phone still has the legacy notch to house the latter.
A 5,000mAh battery is said to power the phone. This is also complemented by 25W fast charging. On the software side, the Galaxy A06 runs the latest version of Android 14, and Samsung is expected to offer two years of OS updates and four years of security patches.
The phone will measure 167.3×77.3×8 .0 mm, and the weight — 196 grams. Security will be provided by a side fingerprint scanner and Samsung Knox Vault for additional data protection. Storage options appear to be limited to two configurations: 4GB of RAM with either 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. Fortunately, there will be a slot for a microSD memory card, which allows you to expand the memory up to 1 TB. And finally, audio is provided by a single mono speaker with Dolby Atmos support.
