The French national football team won the fifth consecutive victory in the selection for Euro-2024

The French national team beat the Irish team with a score of 2:0 in the match of the 2024 European Football Championship qualifying tournament. The French won their fifth victory in five qualifying matches.

The goals were scored by Aurelien Tchowameni (19th minute) and Marcus Thuram (48th minute), according to rodrobnosti. 

In another match group B the Netherlands national team beat Greece 3-0.

The French national team is in first place in Group B with 15 points after 5 matches. Next are the teams of the Netherlands (6 points; 3 matches), Greece (6; 4), Ireland (3; 4) and Gibraltar (0; 4).

September 10 the Greek national team will host the Gibraltar team, the Irish will play the Netherlands national team at home.

In the matches group E the Czech national team drew with the Albanians (1:1), and the Poles beat the Faroe Islands team (2:0).

After four rounds, the first place in the table is occupied by theCzech Republic (8 points)< /strong>, followed by the teams of Albania (7), Poland (6), Moldova (5) and the Faroe Islands (1).

Hungary is leading the standings after four rounds (10 points). , followed by the teams of Serbia (7), Montenegro (5), Lithuania (2) and Bulgaria (2).

In group H  the Danish national team defeated the San Marino team with a score of 4:0, the Finns beat the Kazakhstan football players (1:0), and the Slovenian national team proved to be stronger than the Northern Irish (4:2).

After five rounds&nbsp ;the Finnish national team leads the standings (12 points). Next are the teams of Denmark (10), Slovenia (10), Kazakhstan (9), Northern Ireland (3) and San Marino (0).

Next matches will be held on 10 September: Finland will meet with Denmark, and Kazakhstan – with Northern Ireland.

European Football Championship 2024 will be held from June 14 to July 14 in Germany. So far, only Germany has qualified for the championship as the host country.

The two best teams from each qualifying group qualify for the tournament. The remaining participants of the tournament will be determined by the results of the League of Nations playoffs.
