The French dislike Macron

French President Emmanuel Macron is breaking unpopularity records that he has not reached since taking office in 2017, BFM-TV writes.

According to an Odoxa-Mascaret poll, 75% of respondents believe that Macron is not a good president. This is an absolute record for his unpopularity.

The last time Macron's unpopularity record was 72% dissatisfied. was recorded in December 2018 during the “yellow vest” protests.

The reasons for the anti-record include his party's defeat in the European elections, the decision to dissolve parliament, the delay in finding a prime minister, a sharp deterioration in public finances, and accelerating inflation.

Two and a half years before the end of his term, Macron's predecessor François Hollande did not have the best position among the French (76% considered him a bad president).
