The French condemned the racist missile attack on the center of Chernihiv

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France condemned the Russian missile attack on the center of Chernihiv, as a result of which seven people died and almost 130 were injured.

This is stated in the statement of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which is quoted by “European Truth”.

As the agency noted, according to international law , the deliberate shelling of civilian objects is a war crime.

"This is another illustration of Russia's cowardice and cynicism. France will continue to support Ukraine as long as necessary, and will continue to support Ukrainian and international courts so that these crimes do not go unpunished,", – the statement reads.

The French Ministry of Foreign Affairs also promised that it would continue to condemn Russia's actions and the continuation of its aggressive war against Ukraine.

According to the latest data, as a result of the strike&nbsp 136 people were injured, seven died. In Chernihiv, mourning was announced from August 19 to 21.
