Gisele Bündchen was photographed enjoying dinner with Joaquim Valente. The top model was with her jiu-jitsu instructor on Saturday night in the province of Puntarenas, Costa Rica, along with her children, Benjamin, 12, and Vivian, 9.< /p>

These images of Bündchen with Valente are released just weeks after the model and Tom Brady announced their divorce after 13 years of marriage.

Apparently, the couple couldn't get over the football quarterback's decision to keep playing.

Bündchen, 42, and Valente have known each other for some time. The two appeared in a photo shoot for Dust magazine. The Brazilian gives self-defense classes to the model and her two children at the academy he has with her brothers in Miami.

Interestingly, the model and the athlete were captured spending time together in Costa Rica, the same place she traveled to every year with Tom and her children, since she has a house there.

Gisele praised the instructor and her brothers on her Instagram months ago.

However, sources close to the model insist that she is not dating Valente, who is believed to be in her early 30s. “It certainly looks like Gisele is showing off, and showing Tom what he's missing,” a family source told Page Six.

The outlet says Brady must be hurt to see her ex with her new boyfriend in Costa Rica, which is where the athlete and his children have spent so many happy moments together, as well as owning a residence there, which the model kept after the property division.

“I have to think Gisele is sending Tom a message,” a source told Page Six.

< p class="paragraph">Bündchen and Valente did a photo shoot over a year ago for Dust magazine, in which she talked about her love for jiu-jitsu.

“I've always been a curious person who always wants to dive deeper. It is actually because of my son that I met Joaquim. I have a friend who told me about the Valente brothers and their martial arts school, and since I wanted to guide my almost-teenage son in the right direction, I thought he might be interested in this,” the Brazilian explained to the publication.

“Initially, I wasn't even considering it myself, to be honest. But when I took him to the first class and started talking to Joaquim, I realized that it was much more than self-defense and I became interested in philosophy”, he continued.

Bündchen too she said her 9-year-old daughter, Vivian, takes lessons and “loves it,” adding: “She feels so empowered.”

Brother of the martial arts masters Pedro and Guilherme Valente, Joaquim comes from a family of jiu-jitsu athletes that has several academies spread over several cities, inside and outside the country.

In February, Gisele shared on her Instagram profile a video of a class with Joaquim.

“I think the more tools we have in our toolbox, the better. I feel stronger, more confident and empowered since I started practicing self defense. I feel like it's an important skill for everyone, but especially for us women. Thank you @ValenteBrothers for being great teachers and making the training so much fun. I really want to keep improving. Let's go!” the model wrote in the post.

Brady reacted via Twitter at the time, joking: “My days of leaving dishes in the sink are over. counted.”

The end of Gisele and Tom Brady's marriage was announced on social media on October 28, following months of rumors about the separation. In the publication, the model explained that the marriage collapsed due to distance.

“With great gratitude for our time together, Tom and I amicably finalized our divorce. My priority has always been and will continue to be our children, whom I love with all my heart. We will continue to care for them with the love, care and attention they deserve,” said the model.

“The decision to end a marriage is never easy, but we have grown apart and although it is difficult to go through something like this, I feel blessed by the time we have spent together and I wish Tom the best always”, wrote Gisele.

Tom, with a very similar message, declared on his Instagram that both will continue to work together as parents to ensure love and attention for their children.

Although the divorce documents are confidential, the American press reported that they will share custody of their children .

Brady also has a 15-year-old son, Jack, with actress Bridget Moynahan.
