First humanitarian aid shipments delivered to Gaza via US-built pier

According to US officials, humanitarian aid has begun to flow into the Gaza Strip through the US-built pier.

According to the US Department of Defense, by Wednesday evening more than 800 tons of aid had been delivered.

CNN reported, citing US Navy Vice Admiral Brad Cooper, that the United States hopes to deliver about 500 tons of aid through the pier every day, that is, approximately 90 trucks per day.
