The famous historian Timothy Snyder will join the race in support of the prisoners in Kyiv

The well-known historian, Yale University professor Timothy Snyder decided to join the advocacy run in support of Ukrainian prisoners.

This is stated on the Facebook page of the “Run for Freedom” event. .

The race will take place in Kyiv on September 14. The organizers of the race are students of the Kyiv School of Economics, who were supported by the representatives of the “Heart of Azovstal” support project for the defenders of Mariupol. The purpose of the event is to draw attention to the problem of keeping 28 thousand Ukrainian citizens in Russian captivity, including military personnel, civilians, men, women and children.

Now 28 thousand Ukrainians are being held in Russian captivity. We run to remind each of them to return home. Join us in supporting their families and all those waiting to return, said the KSE student community.
