The European Commission (EC) has launched an investigation into possible violations of the European Digital Services Act by the Chinese sales app Temu. This was reported by the press service of the European Commission.
The EC stated concerns that the platform does not have sufficiently reliable systems to stop the reappearance of unscrupulous sellers, whose products reappear, sometimes within days of being removed, and the sale of counterfeit products.

If the European Commission's suspicions are confirmed, it will be about Temu's failure to comply with five articles of the Digital Services Act.
