At least that’s what some of his teammates and coaches think, reporter James Palmer of NFL Network, Saturday.
However, the Texans’ staff recently said Watt remains in the team’s plans. The same would apply to quarterback Deshaun Watson, who allegedly called on the Texan team to be traded.
“Regarding # 4 [Watson] and # 99 [Watt], they are valuable members of our team, Texans owner Cal McNair said earlier in January. They are important for training and for the city. They are passionate and want to win. We are going in the same direction and, bringing [le directeur général] Nick [Caserio], we are perfectly aligned. “
Watt reportedly had friction with former head coach and general manager Bill O’Brien early in the season.
The 31-year-old defensive player, who has appeared in the Pro Bowl three times, is also said to have questioned the work ethic of some of his teammates early in the campaign.
