16-year-old Maks is dead. The hospital in Brzesko has spoken out about his death.

The doctor sent the 16-year-old home. A day later, he was admitted to hospital, from which he never returned.

As reported by the portal „Onet&rdqu;, the District Hospital in Brzesko has spoken out about the death of 16-year-old Maks. The teenager reported for night and holiday care, which is provided at the facility. The doctor thought the teenager had the flu and sent him home. The boy was taken to hospital a day later, where he died.

Maks felt worse on Sunday, January 26. The 16-year-old began coughing and developed a high fever. Together with his mother, he sought help from a night doctor and holiday medical care, located in the building of the District Hospital in Brzesko.

During the consultation, the doctor determined that the teenager probably had the flu. She sent him home. In the morning, Maks's condition deteriorated rapidly and his mother decided to call an ambulance. The boy was taken to the same hospital he had been to the day before.

Unfortunately, despite the doctors' efforts, the boy's life could not be saved. He died on Monday, January 27. The representatives of the facility decided to speak out on the matter.

The authorities of the hospital in Brzesko have taken voice

„Referring to the information related to the death of a 16-year-old boy, and supposedly related to the lack of admission to the hospital, we strongly emphasize that the information appearing in the social media space as if the patient was not admitted to the Brzesko hospital is untrue. The patient was brought by the Medical Rescue Teams to the Hospital Emergency Department at SPZOZ in Brzesko” – it was provided in the message.

Representatives of the facility assured that he was immediately provided with assistance and transferred to the children's ward. It was emphasized that despite the implemented treatment and cardiopulmonary resuscitation, Maks's life could not be saved. Condolences were expressed to the family of the 16-year-old via a message.
