The details of the camera of the upcoming OnePlus 13 flagship have been revealed

Until now, the OnePlus 13 has been rumored to have a new camera island design compared to its predecessor. It will also allegedly have a 6,000mAh battery and possibly even an under-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.

Today it's time to talk about the cameras. According to a prolific Weibo tipster called Digital Chat Station, the OnePlus 13 will have three 50MP sensors.

Thus, the periscope telephoto camera will also be 50MP, with 3x optical zoom. The telephoto camera will support some of Hasselblad's features, so the partnership between OnePlus and the camera maker will continue.

The OnePlus 12 has a 50MP primary camera, along with a 64MP 3x telephoto and a 48MP ultra-wide. The new sensors could help the OnePlus 13 rise above its predecessor in terms of camera excellence, we'll have to wait and see what happens.

OnePlus 13 will of course be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC, which should to be released in October. Thus, the OnePlus 13 itself may be announced in November, a little earlier than its predecessor.
