Designer developed a calculator that calculates the required power of a charging station

Ukrainian interface designer Ihor under the nickname Х in the social network (former Twitter) @rewlogan developed a calculator that allows you to calculate the power of a home charging station and estimate the necessary, to heal selected devices.

He also published a short user guide:

  1. First, choose the devices you want to heal.
  2. In the tablet, choose a time (for example, a microwave for 10 minutes to heat food, and a router for 4 hours to turn off everything there was internet)
  3. Set the power of each device (by default, the average is set, you may have another)
  4. As a result, you get a calculation of the capacity you need, starting power (it is very inaccurate — check for each such device separately) and operating power.
  5. You can look at the examples of ZS that suit you, but there is far from everything that is on the market, it is simply references.

According to the developer, the database currently contains about 25-30 stations. He also noted that he is waiting for user feedback and will gradually improve the tool.

You can test the calculator here .
