Poland launched the largest gas power plant in the country

In Poland, the largest gas power plant in country and one of the most modern in Europe with a capacity of 1366 MW. According to Polska Grupa Energetyczna (PGE), this power plant will supply 5% of the national electricity demand.

PGE CEO Dariusz Marzek said that these new investments will strengthen Poland's energy security and ensure a stable energy supply for over 3 million households.

The power plant consists of two gas and steam units with a capacity of 683 MW each. Its nominal efficiency exceeds 63%, which is 70% higher than that of old coal blocks.
