Ultimate is very expensive to repair/Huawei

Huawei's Mate XT Ultimate is the world's first triple-folding smartphone, which was announced on September 11. It's a truly unique product and showcases Huawei's innovative capabilities.

But because it's the first of its kind, it's also very expensive: 19,999 Chinese Yuan, which is $2,809 in today's terms. or €2,549, writes GSMArena.

However, the price of the phone is far from the only thing that can shock you. It turns out that the cost of repairs is also mind-boggling. According to the official price list published by Huawei itself, a Mate XT Ultimate screen repair will cost you CNY 7,999, which is $1,123 or €1,019.

Fortunately, there are limited repairs available for 6,999 yuan ($983, €892), and you can also pay 3,499 yuan ($491, €446) or 3,999 yuan ($561, €509) up front to get one screen replacement within one year from the date of purchase of the phone.

Also, the motherboard, should it ever need to be replaced, costs CNY 9,099 ($1,278, €1,160), while the battery costs a much nicer CNY 499 ($70, €63).

The back covers of the device cost 1,379 yuan ($193, €175) for the one with the camera lens, and 399 yuan ($56 , €50) for each of the other two. The telephoto camera costs 578 yuan ($81, €73), the selfie camera costs 379 yuan ($53, €48), the main rear camera costs 759 yuan ($106, €96), and the ultra-wide camera costs 269 yuan ($37, €34).< /p>

So, if you buy the Mate XT Ultimate, make sure you take good care of it so that nothing bad happens to its screen and main panel. Otherwise, you'll pay more than most phones just for repairs.
