Collision between the American Global Hawk and the MiG-31 of the Russian Federation over the Black Sea: the Kremlin's reaction has appeared

Data about the incident between the Russian MiG-31 and the RQ-4B Global Hawk published several Russian Telegram channels. Flightradar reports that the US drone safely reached the base in Sicily.

Kremlin press secretary Dmytro Peskov said he knew nothing about the incident with the US reconnaissance drone over the Black Sea. This is reported by Radio Svoboda. Data about what happened between the Russian MiG-31 and the American RQ-4B Global Hawk drone appeared in several Russian Telegram channels. But a number of sources refute this. According to the Flightradar service, the US drone safely reached the base in Sicily.

US reconnaissance UAV and MiG-31

On June 24, two leading Russian sources wrote about an “incident” between the aircraft MiG-31 PKS of the Russian Federation and the American RQ-4B Global Hawk drone over the Black Sea. The drone was said to have been shot down and the crew presented with state awards.

Flightradar data does not confirm the loss of a US drone, as the Global Hawk, which recently flew over the Black Sea, returned to base early Monday morning without incident.< /p>
