The Chinese have created a robot that gallops over rough terrain, performing acrobatic stunts

China is rapidly launching new robotics products, and DEEP Robotics is now unveiling its latest — a four-legged robot named Lynx. This awesome thing is capable of moving extremely fast over rough terrain while performing something like acrobatic tricks.

Details

In 2017, Deep Robotics was founded in Hangzhou, China, with the goal of creating autonomous robots that climb stairs. Today, the company's product portfolio includes a wide range of multitasking humanoids and robodogs. The new four-legged wheeled robot promises exceptional flexibility for tasks in difficult terrain.

About Lynx, the company says it is a powerful mid-sized robot that opens up new levels of flexibility, performance and ease of use.

< p>Lynx stands out because it replaces the traditional “legs” of robodogs with wheels, which greatly increases the robot's speed and versatility without compromising control.

As seen in a recent promotional video, this wheeled design not only adds speed, but also allows work to more efficiently overcome various terrain.

The design of Lynx allows you to lock the wheels, so the robot can walk, drive and climb. It can easily move over uneven surfaces, dirt, gravel and smooth pavement. Essentially, Lynx combines the adaptability of a walking robot with the efficiency and speed of a wheeled system.

The video shows Lynx in action on a challenging track. The robot maneuvers steep slopes with precise control, switches between walking and wheeled modes, and even climbs over an 80cm rock. He can also balance on two limbs and do somersaults.
