Chinese auto industry actively opens factories

Chinese automakers seeking global growth are building car factories outside China. In particular, they are trying to expand all over the world.

Chery Auto

China's largest automaker by export volume announced last year that it would invest $400 million in the creation of a plant in Argentina that will produce 100,000 cars by 2030.

In 2014, the company opened a plant in Brazil, which has an annual capacity of 150,000 units. Chery is also considering the possibility of building a car plant in Great Britain and is negotiating with the Italian government about production.

BYD< /strong>

The company builds automobile factories in Thailand, Brazil, Hungary and Uzbekistan.
The plant in Uzbekistan has a planned production capacity of 300,000 cars per year.
BYD also said it is looking for a place in < strong>Mexicofor a plant with a production capacity of 150,000 cars per year exclusively for local sales.

SAIC

China's second largest automotive exporter, looking for a place in Europe to create a plant for the production of electric cars. SAIC has already built three overseas car plants in Thailand, Indonesia and India. SAIC also has an assembly plant in Pakistan.

Great Wall Motor

Built a plant in Thailand with an annual capacity of 80,000 cars. The company also has factories in Belarus, Great Britain and Indonesia.
