Company Casio released a smart watch with 2 years of autonomy

The Casio company presented the WS-B1000 model — a hybrid of a traditional electronic watch with an LCD display and a fitness tracker. This is reported by Gizmochina.

This allows the device to combine the functions of modern wearable electronics while maintaining long-term autonomy. Casio has already revealed the key features of the gadget and announced its price.

Casio WS-B1000 have a transflective LCD display similar to conventional watches. As well as being a fitness tracker, they can connect to a smartphone via Bluetooth to sync time, alarms and find your phone. The watch also counts the number of steps taken.

With the help of the mobile application, you can set daily goals for the number of steps. If the goal is not reached, the watch will beep and show a reminder icon on the display. You can also view a graph of the number of steps for the last seven hours.

Among the additional functions of the device are a stopwatch with memory, a timer, five alarms, an hourly sound signal, a backlight of the screen lasting 1.5 or 3 seconds, waterproof to a depth of 100 meters and a two-year autonomy from the CR2016 battery.

Casio WS-B1000 watches are already on sale in the US at a price of $55.
