Like every year, The Car Guide publishes its best buys in all vehicle categories.
Among these, we have divided the mid-size SUVs into two distinct categories: two-row and three-row models. The models in question here are versions with three rows of seats, which can accommodate seven to eight passengers depending on the configuration chosen.
Sales figures for vehicles in this category have increased markedly in recent years, with their convenience and roominess appearing to be of great interest to consumers.

This year, the model that stood out the most is the Kia Telluride. For his return to this category, the Korean manufacturer has done a very good job, easily forgetting Borrego, which was far from being able to compete with the best players in its category.
Spacious and enjoying a well-designed interior, the Telluride also stands out for its dynamic and inspired drive. Under the hood, we find a 291 horsepower V6 that offers convincing acceleration and pick-up. Finally, let us underline the very good price / equipment ratio of Kia’s large SUV, which makes it possible to take advantage of a large number of amenities for a reasonable price.
The other steps of the podium
Behind the Telluride, second place goes to its South Korean cousin, the Hyundai Palisade.

The ranking was very tight between these two vehicles which share their platform and their engine. If its interior is a little more flashy, the quality of manufacture and the materials used give complete satisfaction. The Palisade also offers slightly less dynamic handling than the Telluride.
The last place on the podium goes to the Honda Pilot, a model which has not evolved for several years, but which ages very well.

Its interior, still spacious and well designed, allows you to enjoy a beautiful interior space. On the road, the Pilot certainly remains in the game, thanks to a rigid chassis, well-calibrated suspensions, but above all a V6 engine that only develops 280 horsepower on paper, but whose playfulness we appreciate.
