The Canadian province of Ontario will terminate contracts with SpaceX and other US companies

The Canadian province of Ontario will terminate billions of dollars in contracts with American companies. In particular, this concerns the establishment of the Starlink connection.

Ontario Premier Doug Ford wrote about this on Twitter.

According to him, the province spent about $30 billion on purchases from American companies as part of Ontario's development plan. But now those contracts will be canceled, and American companies will lose tens of billions of dollars in new revenue.

«We are going one step further. We will terminate the province's Starlink contract. Ontario will not deal with people who are dedicated to destroying our economy», Ford wrote.
