The budget version of Apple Vision Pro will not be released before 2027

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said that the budget version of Vision Pro should not be expected in the coming years.

It was expected that it will be released in 2025, but now production has been delayed.

According to Kuo, the budget helmet will be released after 2027. The company decided to delay the release because “simply lowering the price won't help create successful use cases.” Apple has also struggled to attract rapid development of apps and experiences for the headset.

Kuo compared Apple's thinking to the company's experience with the HomePod line.

«Even after the launch of the cheaper HomePod mini, smart Apple speakers have not become mass products», — he said.

The analyst also said that the second-generation Vision Pro with the M5 processor will be released in 2025.
