The British army bought Israeli mini-drones Magni-X

The Ministry of Defense of the United Kingdom signed a contract with the British division of the Israeli company Elbit Systems for supply of the Magni-X mini UAV. This was reported by Army Recognition.
According to the publication, the purchase was made as part of the robotics development program in the British Army's Human Machine Teams. The military will receive drones in the middle of 2023. The cost of the contract was not disclosed.
Magni-X is equipped with electro-optical and infrared cameras on a suspension, providing reconnaissance of the area within 60 minutes. At the same time, the platform weighs about 2 kg and can be integrated into the Elbit Legion-X control system, which allows you to control several drones at once.
Earlier, BAGNET reported that the Royal Navy Thailand ordered Hermes 900 drones from Israeli company Elbit Systems for a total of $107 million.
The purchase agreement was signed at the Navy Headquarters in Bangkok by Commander-in-Chief Admiral Somprasong Nilsamay of Thailand and the Manager of development of the Elbit business by Nissim Assaf Cohen.
According to the publication, the device will be used for sea patrolling, tracking offenses and providing assistance in case of natural disasters.
