A project in the United Statesis developing a technology that will allow you to write and send text messages with your mind, thanks to an implant in the brain that analyzes the waves and transforms them into actions.

Those in charge of this idea are Synchron , a company based in New York, and their translation device is called Stentrode, which has so far been tested on commands recognized by an iPhone.

The process to achieve this writing method is based on the installation of a device in the upper part of the cerebral cortex through the blood vessels, in this way the implant uses sensors to record the activity of the brain and send the signals to a node placed in the patient's chest.

The researchers clarify than the Stentrodeit cannot interpret complex brain waves, but it is enough for people to write and send messages through applications such as WhatsApp.

The design of the device is a mesh, which has the length of a triple AAA battery, approximately four or five centimeters and to place it in the patient's head requires surgery in the cerebral cortex and it will spread through the blood vessels to allow blood flow.
