Azerbaijan's army occupied Lachin in Karabakh after the Russian military left

He stated that Azerbaijan had returned the city of Lachin under control, now the Azerbaijani army is stationed there.

In addition, the settlements of Zabukh and Sus were taken under control.

Note that since 1992 the city of Lachin has been under the control of Armenia. It is of strategic importance because it is located on the road that links Armenia and Karabakh. In honor of this settlement, the Lachin corridor is named. Since 2020, the Russian armed forces have been stationed in Lachin. But on the eve it became known that the military of the Russian Federation is preparing for “relocation”. The “peacekeepers” of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation moved to the “new road” to bypass Lachin. It is also known that Russia transferred the forces of its “contingent” in Karabakh to Ukraine, due to losses.
