In the future, the Russian army will receive drones capable of hitting targets from flamethrower weapons for the RCBZ troops. This was announced by Maxim Skokov, deputy head of Rostec-Trusted Platforms – Robotic Complexes, which will develop aircraft.

The developers carried out tests, during which they demonstrated the possibility of using flamethrowers already available in Russian military units from drones, after which the production of drones began. Testing the technology with special forces has shown that it is quite difficult to shoot down such an aircraft without appropriate training.
In addition, cargo drones will enter service, which will deliver cargo to hard-to-reach places. Their testing was also completed successfully.
Previously, Iran managed to achieve self-sufficiency in the production of combat UAVs.
