The adjuster of enemy strikes on Chasovy Yar was detained

The Security Service of Ukraine detained a female agent of Russian military intelligence in Kostyantynivka, Donetsk region. She was adjusting air strikes on artillery positions of the Defense Forces of Ukraine near the city of Chasiv Yar.

Details

According to the SBU message on the Telegram channel, the agent tried to identify and transfer to the Russian military the coordinates of fortified areas and artillery positions of the Ukrainian troops fighting at Chasiv Yar. Russia planned to carry out air strikes on these units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in order to create conditions for a breakthrough in the city's defense.

According to the investigation, the detainee is a 51-year-old unemployed woman from Kostyantynivka, who was recruited by Russian special services this summer. The SBU counterintelligence detained her at her place of residence, while comprehensive measures were taken to ensure the security of Ukrainian units. During the search, computer equipment and a mobile phone with evidence of working for the enemy were seized.

SBU investigators informed the detainee of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason committed under martial law). She is currently in custody and faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
