In China put into operation 5.5G network

China Mobile announced the launch of the network 5.5G – for the first time in the world. Well, the first smartphone with support for this technology (also 5G-Advanced or 5GA) was the Oppo Find X7 Ultra. The photo of the smartphone with the corresponding symbol on the screen was shared by the top manager of Oppo, Pete Lau.

In an article published on the Weibo social network, it is said that the Oppo Find X7 will soon receive 5.5G support. This is quite interesting, since the smartphones are built on different single-chip systems: the Find X7 Ultra is based on Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, and the Find X7 is based on the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC.

In a year, the number of smartphone models with support is expected to 5G-Advanced will exceed 20 units, and China Mobile will cover more than 300 cities with the 5.5G network during this time. First of all, these will be the metropolises of Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.

The 5G-Advanced network promises to be much faster than 5G: it will provide a download speed of 10 Gbit/s and upload data to the Network at a speed of 1 Gbit/s.< /p>
