Tether Launches USDT Stablecoin on NEAR Network

Tether launched USDT stablecoin in networks NEAR 

USDT issuer Tether Operations Limited has issued a stablecoin on the NEAR network.

The NEAR Protocol platform supports open source smart contracts. It has a high bandwidth and is designed for building decentralized applications.

What is NEAR Protocol blockchain and cryptocurrency?

In July, the total number of projects on the web exceeded 700 units. According to the NEAR Foundation, the NEAR network makes between 300,000 and 400,000 transactions daily.

“We support initiatives that can increase the stability of the DeFi ecosystem and help us accelerate the mass adoption of Web3,” NEAR Foundation CEO Marieke Flaman said.

Tether stablecoin also runs on Algorand, Avalanche, Simple Ledger Protocol Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, EOS, Kusama, Liquid Network, Polygon, Tezos, Tron, Solana, and Statemine.
