Osaka – Eighteen-year-old tennis player Linda Fruhvirtová was unable to finish the opening match at the WTA tournament in Osaka today. They are playing 1:1 in sets with their British opponent Harriet Dart, the darkness prevented further continuation and the organizers had to postpone the match to Tuesday.

Dartová won the first set 7:5, Fruhvirtová won the second set by the same ratio. She is the only Czech representative at the tournament in Japan and at the same time the fourth seed. She has a chance to end her seven-game losing streak in Osaka.
