Serbia has received modern French GM400 and GM200 radars. The radar systems, developed by Thales, are designed to increase the efficiency of airspace control and early detection of air threats, informs Militarny.
The GM400 and GM200 radars are capable of operating in various conditions and provide high accuracy in tracking objects in the air. The GM400 specializes in long-range monitoring, covering long distances of up to 470 kilometers, while the GM200 is a more mobile option designed for medium distances, with a range of up to 250 kilometers.
Both radars have the ability to be integrated into modern air defense systems, allowing for a rapid response to potential threats. Their implementation increases the Serbian military's ability to monitor airspace and contribute to ensuring national security.
