Taken from real life. "My husband filed for divorce": He didn't realize the consequences

He thought the divorce was a fresh start, but when it came to domestic problems and raising the children he left behind, his enthusiasm quickly waned.

I didn't try to convince him to stay. I packed my things and left his apartment, I had no place of my own or a job, so I lived in a one-room apartment with my mother. My children were used to their own home, they had their own rooms and toys, and I didn't want to change that, especially in such an unstable situation.

Since the birth of my first child, I was on maternity leave, and after the birth of my second, my professional career was abandoned due to a reorganization at my previous workplace.

My husband became irritable and our relationship deteriorated, which eventually led to a divorce. When my husband found out that the children would stay with him, he was shocked and outraged. He expected me to take the children, but I simply did not have the conditions to support them.

I set myself the task of finding a job and a place to live, instead of dragging the children from one place to another. Despite his reluctance, I left the children with him, knowing that it would be better for them until I could get my life in order.
