Taiwan will buy 1,000 attack drones amid threats from China

Taiwan's Ministry of Defense has agreed with the United States on the purchase of about 1,000 attack drones from American companies AeroVironment and Anduril Industries. This decision is aimed at strengthening the country's defense capabilities in response to the potential threat of an attack from China.

According to Bloomberg, in late September, Taiwan signed preliminary agreements before the official award of contracts, which will determine the exact number of drones, their cost and delivery schedule. . It is expected that the final details will be agreed in the near future.

It is equipped with a specialized combat unit for defeating armored vehicles.
