Syrsky said that Ukraine could have its own analogue of Patriot

According to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in Soviet times, Ukraine produced all control systems for anti-aircraft missile systems.

Ukraine is working on creating its own air defense system, which may have characteristics no worse than the American Patriot.

This was stated by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky in an interview with Andriy Tsaplienko on TSN.Tyzhden.

“We are still in Soviet times, they produced all the control systems for anti-aircraft missile systems. That is, we have the capacity and the ability to create, and work is underway to create our own air defense system,” – says the commander-in-chief.

When asked by a journalist whether this means that Ukraine will have its own analogue of Patriot, Syrsky answered: “I hope that in terms of its characteristics it will be no worse than Patriot.”
