On October 10, the Ukrainian pop singer Monatik presented the song “Mila ne plach”, which he recorded together with the Ukrainian artist Tumazar.

The composition was published on the Tumazar YouTube channel. It is rapidly gaining popularity in social networks.

The song is dedicated to all Ukrainians who cannot return home due to tragic circumstances in Ukraine. The artists sing about a girl who represents thousands of those who “with pain in their hearts are picking up the memories of their past piece by piece, trying to find themselves in a new reality”.

For Tumazar, the song has a special meaning, because he wrote it about his sister, who was forced to live abroad because of the war.

This is a song of support that we express to all those who have been forced to leave. In the track, we managed to combine two different opinions – in Monatik, the views are more positive, mature, strong. And I'm more about accepting this sadness. In my verse I sing: “Feel this pain, accept it, you'll see a way out everywhere.” Monatik says that the heroine is picking herself up piece by piece. That is, he is about healing, and I am about accepting despair and pain before the wounds heal, Tumazar said.

The song also has a verse in Chinese in which Tumazar sings about dreams and hopes of a girl trying to find her way in the big world.

According to Monatik, during the collaboration with Tumazar, he saw the real potential in him.

It is important for me to help artists who just beginning their journey, not only to develop as musicians, but also to inspire them to have the courage to be themselves. I am glad that today I can present our joint result. Cooperation with Tumazar is proof that talents are born where there is support, mutual understanding and the desire to create, the singer said.

TUMAZAR became MONATIK's ward in the project “Incredible Duets” on the New Channel, where the artist chose him among many participants due to his bright style and charisma. The premiere of the track “Sweetheart Don't Cry” took place during their joint performance on the show.
