Sweden called Russia the biggest threat

The government of Sweden has adopted a new strategy in the sphere of national security. Russia is named the main threat to the kingdom. Vlada respects the need to give basic respect to the foreign movement of the security sector.

The document was submitted by the head of the Ministry of Defense Paul Johnson. At the press conference, he stated:

Russia is the greatest and most serious threat to our national security.

Another threat, he called “the actions of authoritarian powers odo expansion of its influx,” including the desire for China to “take a leading position in the field of new technologies.” One of the goals of the PRC, the minister called the creation of cyber potential, which “threatens inheritance” for Sweden.

Three priority areas include internal and external security, and Enhancement of the level of defense and competitiveness. In the opinion of the Swedish government, the threat of security in the country is the most serious since the Second World War.
