Surovikin was released to Russia

General Sergey Surovikin with the call sign "Armageddon" dismissed from the post of commander of the Rashist Air and Space Forces, wrote the former editor-in-chief of the radio station “Echo of Moscow” Oleksiy Venediktov with reference to the decree of the President of the Russian Federation.

He also writes that the decree also states that Surovikin will be left at the disposal of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

Russian journalist Ksenia Sobchak writes that, according to her data, Surovikin was dismissed by closed decree on August 18.
