    The Subcommittee on Constitutional Accusations of the Congress of the Republic will be installed this Monday, September 19, at 5:00 p.m., for the period 2022-2023, under the presidency of Lady Camones (Alliance for Progress).

    That day they will become aware of the complaints filed against the suspended legislator Freddy Díaz(Not Grouped), accused of having raped a worker of that state power and for whom a 10-year disqualification from holding public office is requested.

    In this regard, Congresswoman Rosangella Barbarán (Popular Force) sent a document to Camones Soriano demanding that she act quickly in the complaints against the Vice President of the Republic, Dina Boluarte.

    The Fujimorista parliamentarian recalled that the complaints against Boluarte Zegarra have been in said working group since last May, for which she asked him to take the “necessary actions” to fulfill your request.

    On that date, the Permanent Commission declared admissible the constitutional complaint against the also Minister of Development and Social Inclusion for allegedly taking steps as president of the Apurímac Departmental Club when she was already an official.

    “It is important to emphasize that our country is facing a serious governance crisis, caused by the actions of high-ranking State officials; therefore, it is necessary that we adopt immediate and effective actions that help restore governability to the country and also, recover the trust of citizens”, he said.

    It should be noted that the Board of Directors of the Subcommittee on Constitutional Accusations is completed by Waldemar Cerrón (Free Peru) as vice president and Noelia Herrera (Popular Renovation) , as secretary.

    Lady Camones assumes this responsibility days after being censored as head of Congress, after that audios be revealed in which he coordinated the approval of a bill with the leader of his party, César Acuña.

    The subcommittee is the body in charge of qualifying the admissibility and origin of the constitutional complaints presented, as well as carrying out the investigation in the processes of constitutional accusation, issuing the corresponding final report.
