Ukrainer launched a new YouTube channel “Ukrainer W”. It will publish multimedia stories from interviews of Ukrainian military personnel who, after returning from the front, adapt to civilian life and help others in this.

The project tells the stories of Ukrainian soldiers who returned from the front. This was reported by the editors on Facebook.

For military personnel, returning from war, however desirable, is often a new test, because civilian life can be full of challenges for them.

So one of the manifestations of respect and gratitude of those who are in the rear is to understand and support veterans in order to preserve the unity of society, – noted the authors of the project.

In the first episode of “He fought near Marathon ” the stories of five veterans are presented:

Ruslana Danilkina, who went to war as a volunteer and was a signal operator, and after being injured and wearing prosthetics, helps servicemen rehabilitate at the Superhumans center;

Gleba Stryzhka – a marine who survived Russian captivity, and now in the Veteran Hub team helps soldiers adapt to civilian life;

Olexandra Budka, who was a mortarman in the war, and after a serious injury and recovery, became a co-author of the YouTube show about inclusiveness “Falling legs, or All inclusive” to develop accessibility in the country, and also wrote a book about his military experience;
< br> Ihory Bezkaravayny, deputy minister of economy for humanitarian demining in Ukraine in civilian life and a mechanic-driver in the war, who told why he separated from the veteran community after being wounded and demobilized;

Yurko Vovkogon is a cultural manager who survived numerous injuries and is currently undergoing rehabilitation, and also reflects on his military experience through art.
