Have you placed an order on Amazon with the status shown as delivered, but never actually received the package? It can become a nightmare figuring out how to contact Amazon for a delivered package, but we’ve got you covered.
Online shopping has exploded in recent years, and more particularly since the start of the Covid-19 crisis.
Unsurprisingly, Amazon takes a large chunk of online shopping, and thousands upon thousands of packages are sent out every day.
Only, it is not uncommon to see that one of our packages has been left on our front porch or in front of the door of our house or apartment block.
These Amazon packages are then left to themselves to the great pleasure of the “pirates’ porch,” people who literally come to steal the packages.
The other problem is that after the delivery person leaves the package, the status of the package in our Amazon account is shown as delivered.
This is obviously not the case and there is no option to report the theft!
We figured out how to report it and get a refund from Amazon.

Here are the only options you have to return a package and get a refund on Amazon.
Then, miraculously, digging through comments, I finally managed to figure out how to report it to Amazon.
Someone was sharing Amazon’s famous customer service phone number. A number literally not found on the Amazon site, since it is listed nowhere.
The 1 (877) 586-3230.
Just call there, give our order number, then explain the situation.
In the vast majority of cases, they do not even persist and de facto agree to reimburse.
So if your package has been stolen, pull out your phone and complain to Amazon!
