The State Bureau of Investigation is holding civil servants who became collaborators accountable

Large-scale work is underway to expose traitors and collaborators and bringing them to justice, the SBI website informs.

In the liberated territories, SBI employees check all state institutions in order to identify the remaining officials and help the occupiers “induce” Russian order.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation in the Kharkiv region alone, the SBI has been investigating more than 100 such criminal proceedings. 20 traitors have already been detained. Suspicion was reported to 52 persons. 16 indictments were sent to the court.

In Kup’yanska, it was reported about the suspicion of the first worker of the taxpayer, as she took danina from the local population and campaigned for her other colleagues to work for the occupation of power. Їy was informed in absentia about the suspicion of the sovereign state (part 2 of article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Identification and prosecution of traitors continues in the occupied territories. In the village of Belovodsk, Luhansk region, the State Bureau of Investigation has already reported suspicions of treason to eight law enforcement officers. Indictments against 7 people were sent to court.

At the end of 2022, the SBI sent to court indictments against six ex-law enforcement officers from Berdyansk, who swore an oath and went to serve in the fake “People's Militia of Berdyansk”. They handed over to the invaders information about the personnel of the law enforcement agencies of the city and those workers who remained loyal to Ukraine. For this crime, they face life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
