    Andy Otero threw; He will join the Stars in the 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 seasons.

The Stars will strengthen their starting pitching rotation, with the integration of three imported , all lefties, who will be in action in the next few days.

The new starting pitchers for the All-Stars are Panamanian Andy Otero, Venezuelan Enmanuel de Jesús and the American Buddy Baumann.

Otero will arrive He headed home next Saturday, ready to join the club, after pitching in Taiwan baseball. De Jesús has been in the country for several days and Baumann will arrive in the country this Thursday.

The left-handed Otero threw with the Stars in the 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 seasons. His earned run averages allowed  (PCL) in the regular series of those tournaments were: 1.10 and 1.79, respectively. Last season he had a 3-0 record. In the Round Robin his record was 1-0, with a 0.84 ERA, in two games. this year in Triple A, for the branch team of the San Francisco Giants (Sacramento). In 101 2/3 innings, the lefty struck out. 118 batters. granted 51 walks, in 35 games, 19 of them as a starter.

In his 8-year minor league career, the 25-year-old pitcher is 44-40. His earned run average is 3.92.

Baumann is an experienced left-handed pitcher, who went in & eacute; 2016 and 2018 worked in the Major Leagues, for the San Diego Padres and the New York Mets, in those cases as a reliever.

However, in the Minor Leagues of organized baseball and other circuits, Baumann has been a pitcher opener.

In 2022, the 34-year-old pitcher saw action in a game in the Taiwan Professional Baseball League; in 8 games in the Mexican League and in 5 games in the American Association (independent league in the United States).

In the independent league (Lincoln) he had a 1-1 record, with Earned Runs Allowed Average (EAP)  of 2.03.

In the Mexican League (Monclova) his record was 3-1, with 3.74 of  PCL.

His past experience in the Major Leagues is 38 games.

On Friday, Phillips Valdez, against the Leones del Esgido; at the Tetelo Vargas Stadium. On Saturday, Oscar de la Cruz, against the Toros del Este; in the  Francisco Micheli Stadium. On Sunday, Shaun Anderson, against the Toros del Este; at the Tetelo Vargas Stadium. On Monday, Emmanuel de Jesus, against the Tigres del Licey; at the Quisqueya Juan Marichal Stadium.
