We know that the Star Wars universe likes to be inclusive. The proof is in this first visual of Sister, the first transsexual Stormtrooper clone. Discover who Sister is, this clone like no other.
A NEW CLONE OF A NEW KIND
Already, the animated series The Bad Batch has challenged our beliefs. Indeed, in this animated series available on Disney+, Dave Filoni introduces a new heroine: Omega. This young woman, the main character of the series, is a female clone. Already an important figure in the Star Wars universe, Omega has undoubtedly played a role, in spite of herself, in the Palpatine's resurrection.
This week, we introduce you to Sister. She is a clone from the Republic era. Like her peers, Sister was created on the planet Kamino. But unlike her colleagues, Sister decided to fully embrace her gender identity and thus became the very first transgender clone in the Star Wars universe. Her character is not entirely new since she was first introduced in 2020 in Star Wars: The Clone Wars -Stories of Light and Dark. She was then largely developed in the novel Queen's Hope by E.K. Johnston, released in 2022.
